Proclaim His Name

We are on the brink of a new season, a new harvest, and later this year possibly a new president. All of this change represents change and newness of life—so aptly described in God’s Word.

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new (2 Corinthians 5:17 KJV).

I am so thankful for the Spirit of God that resides in me, conforming me into His will and strengthening to be able to face every trial while adapting to the changes that are occurring all around me.

Every time I’ve visited the city of our Great King and my feet walked upon the rich historical soil I felt my spirit being re-ignited and renewed. I was overjoyed to press into the Presence of God and connect to the familiar stories of the Bible. However, there was one day while visiting the Old City that I sensed despair, evil and agitation. It saddened me to feel this God-opposing religious spirit, full of anger and hate that had been unleashed on the City where God has written His Name.

Unfortunately, I have also recognized this same spirit of hate operating now in our own land. Why has there been such division—such dissension among Americans? We know from the Word of God that before Yeshua comes back, evil will become more evil. But take heed—this does not mean God is losing the battle. Prophecy says that this increase in evil must happen before He comes to bring His government to the whole Earth. The question then becomes, what side of prophecy are we going to be on? Every person alive has a roll – even the devil and those who align themselves to evil must carry out God’s plan. We must ask ourselves if we are promoting the right spirit or a spirit of religious hate? Are we a nurturing stalk of wheat or a combative weed? Both must grow according to His prophetic Word.

We must realize that man, in his carnality will be unable to overcome the spirit that challenges the very Sovereignty of God. But through a new covenant with God’s Messiah, we can walk in His love and His wisdom. Until Yeshua comes and defeats the evil one, we have a function and a mandate—and that is to advance His Kingdom by declaring “He is God.”

Referring to the lost souls of man, Yeshua said, “…behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest (John 4:35 KJV).

We, as Christians, are to obey the Lord when He says to declare to all the nations the good news of Salvation. Aren’t we not the workers of the harvest? Yes and we are His witnesses. So then, how do we become a worker and a witness for the Lord? That’s easy—a witness simply testifies everywhere he goes. He is your God. Proclaim it every where you go. In every conversation, let it be known. Subtly or loudly – declare it! Simply tell people what Yeshua has done in your life, and let the Holy Spirit do the convicting. You may reap a harvest, or you may plant a seed for someone else to reap at a later date—either way, you become part of His plans and purposes—and not part of the problem.
